November 11, 2012 "Veterans Day"

OMG!  Where has the year gone!  The last time we talked was in September.  Fall weather is here!  Halloween has come and gone and i love seeing all the little goblins and witches out and about.  My daughter is 14 and still dresses up!  Yes I do too!  Love it!

Well, in honor of Veterans day, want to show how proud I am of each and every veteran for their service in protecting our country, the ultimate sacrifice!

Well, Thanksgiving is in a week or so, i have already started baking.  Ok, I can share this, I am a pumpkin addict!  Just call me the pumpkin queen.  As we speak, i am making pumpkin pie bars!  I am in heaven!

Enjoy all of your family traditions, old ones and make new ones.  That is what I do.  Think of everything you are thankful for as I know that I am blessed with family and friends.

Fall Weather

Well, the last time you heard from me was in July.  The summer was so busy.  Well, school has started, kids are back in school.  Fall weather is coming.  Pumpkins everywhere and in any dish you want. I love this time of year, pumpkins, leaves changing. 

What is your favorite thing about the fall weather?  Would love to hear from everyone.  I know that everyone has a different favorite thing.  I think sometimes that I eat so much pumpkin that I will turn into one!  Not such a bad thing. 

Halloween is almost here. What is your favorite costume to wear?  I loved Halloween as a child and love it as an adult.  My daughter loves it.  No matter what age, it is a cool time. 

well, enjoy the Fall colors.  Enjoy the cooler weather.  Be whomever you want to be.  Enjoy every day, one day at a time.  See everyone soon to see how your year is going. 

Cherish every day

We should all cherish every day as every day is a gift. Please pray for the people in Aurora, Colorado at the movie theater where evil came to visit but also heroes emerged. 

12 special angels went to heaven that day.  Wonderful people of all ages, sizes, were leading fruitful lives and on July 20,2012, were called home.  I believe in angels who watch over us.  There are angels in heaven who guide us and protect us. 

That day, people put their lives to the side to protect others and I think that is the definition of a hero.  They did not go into that movie theater thinking they were heroes but emerged as heroes.  There is no greater love that one human being to give then to give his life for a friend. 

Please hug your children, your families every day and tell them how special they are in your life.  They need to hear it.  I take one day at a time and consider every day a gift. 

Summer in Texas

Well, it is almost the end of July and most of the country is having hot weather.  Well, in Texas, that is all the time.  Here it is hot and not hot! 

It has been raining a lot here and you know what that means, texas sized mosquitos!  Yes and they are big.

Surviving Memorial Day

Hello everyone.  did everyone survive Memorial Day and the start of summer?  Everyone is out and about thinking of how they will spend their summer time.  I love eating watermelon, going to the water and seeing new life.  School is out! 

More time with your kids, well. We homeschool and so we are so lucky and blessed to see our daughter grow up and love to see her grow into a nice young lady.  She is 14 and I am blessed every day to have her in my life.

Every day is a blessing.  Go out and find 5 things that you are thankful for.  Would love to hear back from everyone.  Would love to hear about everyone's summer trip plans.

April and May, 2012

Well, where has the time gone.  Summer is almost here.  School is out.  The great days of summer are upon us.  We just got back from vacation and my 14 year old daughter took her lst airplane ride!

It was so awesome, to see her face light up like a Christmas tree.  She smiled and laughed on takeoff and landing.  It was so wonderful to see this and be a part of this wonderful experience.  Everyone should fly just once and experience the wonderful, freeing feeling that my daughter experienced and i was lucky enough to experience again. 

I had not flown in 20 years and it will not be that long again when we fly again.  We are already planning our next trip.  Met new people on the plane, being up in the clouds is such a freeing feeling and so close to God. 

Well, go out there, get a map, plan a trip and let me know of your experiences and where you are taking a trip this summer.  Whether, you take a plane ride, take a road trip in your car.  Would love to hear of the sites you have seen or will see.

March 5,2012-March 28,2012

Well, it so hard to believe that St. Patricks day has come and gone.  It really feels like Spring is here.  Easter is around the corner and everything is blooming.  Well,  I can tell you that is true because my allergies are in full bloom,lol.  Well, we are getting well and moving toward warmer weather.  We are ready. 

In August in Houston, I will be eating those words!  So ready to come out of our winter cocoon and spread our wings, so to speak.  Hope everyone is going to have a great Spring.  Every day is a gift from God.  See everyone soon and would love to hear your Spring stories of birth and rebirth.

February 15,2012 through March 4,2012

Well Valentines Day has come and gone and Spring is almost here.  Getting ready for St. Patricks Day.  You know luck of the Irish, when I was growing up, this was a national holiday!  Well, fast forward many years and my daughter Molly was born on St. Patrick's Day which makes the day even more special.  She is my lucky charm.  You know that everyone is Irish on St. Patricks Day and so go on out there and celebrate with your friends and loved ones because that is what we are doing.

I have a teenager and what a special time it is when they transition from babies to toddlers and then you turn around and they are teenagers.  Where has the time gone?  Cherish every day as that is what I do.  Give out hugs daily. 

Well, go grab the blarney stone, find gold at the end of a rainbow.  What a magical time this is.  See everyone tomorrow.

Well January has come and gone and Valentines Day is here.  Where has the time gone?  It seems like we are always going from one holiday to the next.  Well, we are celebrating Valentines Day and trying to spread love wherever we go. 

What are your plans for Valentines Day?  Giving your special loved ones, candy, flowers, cards, etc.  Everyone spends their holiday different and that is what makes it special. 

Also going to work and save and make money and help people.  That is what I love to do. 

Well see everyone tomorrow and would love to hear how everyone spent their valentines day.  We are so ready for the spring weather. 

January 9-January 26,2012

Boy where has the time gone.  It was just Christmas and then it was time to put up the Christmas tree.  How is kindness/24/7 going?  This is the year to follow your passion, chase your dream.  Some call it feeding your passion.  It is also the year of firsts.  If you have not seen that sunset, mountain side, go see it and seize the moment. 

Well, speaking of chasing your dream.  On January 14th, 2012, I drove to Austin, Texas and auditioned for Americas Got Talent.  It was the most exciting experience that I have ever done.  I met so many wonderful people, so much talent in one place.  I have been meaning to do this for a long time.  I felt so relaxed in my own element.  I was so happy, complete euphoria!  Even got a cut in line pass. 

Have you ever had one of those days when everything fell into place, well, mine was January 14, 2012.  I felt so good after my audition and I gave it my all.  I got thumbs up from friends.  Will not know anything for 2-3 months but I am open to whatever God has for me. 

I am hoping that I go onto the next level which will make it closer to my dream coming true.  Singing is my passion and I feel so close to God when I sing.  Will let everyone know when I hear.  Keep your fingers crossed.  Dreams do come true. 

Well, until tomorrow, keep looking for kindness and follow your dreams.  It makes the view so much better and you are not following the same path as before.

December 26, 2011 to January 8, 2012

How is everyone doing?  I have been really busy lately.  You know, putting away the Christmas tree, decorations, etc.  Getting back to normal.  So ready for the New Year and 2012.  Do you know what I got for Christmas?  a cold.  You know the gift that keeps on giving.  Well I got my rest and am ready for the new year. 

I am still interested to hear from everyone about kindness 24/7 plan.  Change for the tollway, a smile, etc.  Everything is important. 

Well, I am still working on saving and making money and would love to share my info as I like to help people.  We are all here to help each other.  Talk tomorrow and hope everyone has a blessed day.

Christmas Day is here.  What a wonderful day!  Jesus birthday.  Santa has come and now he is off to rest up for another year of cheer.  We had a wonderful day, filled with family, good food and laughter and stories.  Oh yes, like I said we did our talent show and it was wonderful.  Everyone brought their talent and fun was had by everyone.  We should make this an annual Christmas event. 

Everyone should look and see what your family's talents are as they are blessings.  Well, you know that I will be resting up after all of this activity.  I will also be making and saving money and would love to share that with you.  What a wonderful way to stay home, be there for your family and make money but I really like saving money. 

I am going to rest up and get ready for 2012 because I am ready.  Talk soon.
